Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ModelRadar — the website
modelradar.embervalue.com, the API, and email alerts (the
"Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
The Service
ModelRadar provides a calendar of LLM API model deprecations and retirements, a JSON API serving that data and a change-events feed, and optional email alerts.
Data accuracy — important
The data ModelRadar provides is compiled from publicly available provider documentation and announcements. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee it is complete, correct, or up to date. The Service is provided "as is". Model lifecycle decisions made by AI providers can change at any time. Always confirm critical information against the official documentation of the relevant provider before relying on it. ModelRadar is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- exceed the rate limits of your plan, or attempt to circumvent them;
- bulk-extract the dataset beyond your plan's limits to build a directly competing product;
- disrupt, attack, or probe the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell or redistribute the raw API data except as permitted by your plan.
You are responsible for keeping your API key secret and for all activity under it.
Plans and payment
Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Intellectual property
The ModelRadar website, software, and the compiled dataset are owned by ModelRadar. The underlying facts (model names, dates) are not owned by us and originate with the model providers. You may use the API data within your applications as permitted by your plan.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ModelRadar's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or that threatens the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, where the Service is hosted, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
